The liquid oxygen in the liquid oxygen storage tank continues to volatilize, and the concentration of acetylene gas may increase, causing accumulation and precipitation.In order to have a better explosion-proof type, the liquid oxygen in the liquid oxygen storage tank should be used while flushing as much as possible, and often upgraded to avoid accumulation of acetylene gas. Analyze the acetylene gas composition in liquid oxygen once a week, and exhaust the liquid oxygen if it exceeds the specification.

The liquid oxygen storage tank should maintain a positive pressure to avoid sucking in saturated steam, which may cause lock and blockage. Before the liquid oxygen storage tank is gradually used, it must be blown with dry nitrogen to eliminate water. 

Liquid oxygen storage tank pressure: ≥0.2MPa (common working pressures are 0.8MPa, 1.5MPa)

Mobile storage equipment: liquid oxygen (LOX), liquid nitrogen (LIN), liquid argon (LAr), liquid carbon dioxide (LCO2), lng natural gas (LNG), etc.

The installation place of the liquid oxygen storage tank should be the storage tank and the attached machinery and equipment, not in the vicinity of cables, flammable and explosive materials vapor or liquid pipelines. If the storage tank is installed in the room, the building must not be flammable. The structure has excellent natural ventilation standards, and it is used for vapor storage. If the storage tank is used to connect a liquid pump or immediately use liquid oxygen.
